A Bittersweet Goodbye: The New Chapter for 2025

Dear Calyx Community,

With heavy hearts and immense gratitude, we write to share that Calyx Wellness Studio will soon close its doors. For the past five years, this space has been more than just a studio—it’s been a sanctuary. Together, we’ve cultivated a place where healing, growth, and connection could flourish.

Our beloved building, an old Austin gem built in 1920, is undergoing a new transformation as the property transitions to its new owners. While it’s exciting to imagine what will come next for this magical space, it’s also difficult to say goodbye to the walls that have held so much love, laughter, and care.

We want to take this moment to reflect on the beauty of what we’ve built together. To every client who trusted us on their wellness journey, to every practitioner who filled these rooms with their gifts, and to every guest who stepped into our doors with an open heart: thank you. You’ve made Calyx Wellness Studio so much more than a business—you’ve made it a family.

A special thank-you is owed to the wonderful people who helped make Calyx what it was. To Annee, my incredible business partner, thank you for sharing this vision and building it alongside me with creativity and passion. To our down-to-earth landlord, who turned into a dear friend, thank you for fostering the magic of this space and being such a steady support. And to every team member, collaborator, and dreamer who added their energy to this place, you are the reason this studio became a home.

While this chapter is ending, the spirit of Calyx Wellness Studio will live on in the community we’ve created. We’re hopeful that our paths will continue to cross in other ways, and we’ll carry the lessons, connections, and memories from these past five years into everything we do moving forward.

As we wind down, we encourage you to visit us one last time. Let’s savor this space together while it’s still ours, and let’s celebrate all the joy, healing, and growth it has brought into our lives.
